Who is Sloane Victor

Hey that's me. I'm a 20 year old living in so called Australia. I'm white, AuDHD diagnosed, and a trans woman.

I used to make writing my whole identity, but that just lead to burnout. I originally started this to give some recognition to my photography hobby. I hope it grows in the future.

What is Gelodark?

The red character in my site header and button is my pixel art of Gelodark, a blind bag figure from the Crazy Bones Rockers line. I use it in the same way other internet users decorate their pages with Sanrio characters. Because these characters are mass produced icons they are just sorta, claimed by the public for use. Gelodark by its nature of being a blind bag figure was not only mass produced but also abandoned, it is no longer manufactured. I do not just think using its design is fair use, I want to bring some life back into this cool character design that has been long forgotten. I do not claim to own the Gelodark design, only the pixel art I made of it.

What do I plan doing with my own website?

Personal photography: These include my works in toy photography from 2017 onwards, as well as my more recent still life and "beauty in the mundane" series. Because these represent me the most, they will likely come first.

My parent's photography: My parents have an extensive and interesting collection of pictures of the world through their eyes. Because I hate them, I'd like to release them for royalty free use. I envision a thumbnail gallery on Neocities with the pictures hosted on a website built for downloading royalty free images, after that I will release them slowly.

Nonfiction about fiction: This covers any reviews, story analysis, or otherwise that I'd like to blog about.

Zines: I'd love to release small publications covering personal interests of mine.

Shrines: I only recently learned what these are, I would like to do one here.
